WP3 Data storage and access

Objectives

WP3 is focused on ensuring that data created at the wet-lab facilities of the infrastructure is effectively archived, distributed and integrated with existing public resources. The focus of the work will be two-fold: first developing tools for building and running effective data transfer pipelines between sequencing and genotyping centers and the large-scale and archival data repositories maintained at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), and second to create effective methods to provide data access to infrastructure users and members of the scientific community. Our major deliverables will be data exchange infrastructure based on these tools and methods. To the extent possible, the infrastructure will leverage resources created by earlier projects and be optimised for this generic infrastructure.
